I am not one to read fantasy novels. Because it was a free first book I read Everflame. Something compelled my by the cover, the symbol...something led me to finish it as well as book number 2. Parts of it made my cry, as it somehow rang truth into my spirit. The remembering...who are we? What is our reason and purpose of mankind?
Thank you ...there are many mysteries in this life, but true love is holy.
I love you for writing these books.
What a gift to mankind, what a legacy.
May we all "remember" where we come from and who we really are.
I choose to embrace the love...love of life, love of self and love for all mankind.

Got the first book free... Figuring it was better than having nothing to read during a long flight... I quickly ended up buying books 2 and 3. An amazing story.

I was mildly disappointed in this book. I really enjoyed the first one and this one just wasn't as good. Predictable, repetitive and a bit disconnected. However I like that he continued w the themes of good and evil being gray area. I also really like how the story dealt with Firerock and oaktongue. Overall I gave this book a 3 because I like the premise but overall disappointed.
