This book will put you in the Driver's Seat

These are life transforming truths! I am a former pastor. I backslid for many years because I had no idea how to get free from the fleshly and demonic chains that held me captive. Outstanding Book

I read book 1 before reading this book. This book is excellent and has practical suggestions and advice and wisdom about unlocking our Destinies and interceding for others to help unlock their destinies.

I agree that many people live a life that is unfulfilling and even boring having the sense that they could be doing so much more or making such a difference.

I read many books and this is one of the most important books I have ever read.

I highly recommend this book.

This book holds amazing information. All my life I have been taught ...

Wow! I learned I was ineffective praying the wrong way. This book holds amazing information.
All my life I have been taught that we needed to go into battle to pray. Mr. Henderson shows how that information was misdirected. Rather, we need to take our requests before the Great Judge of all, Father God and let Him judge between us and our adversary. There is a huge difference between operating on a battlefield and the courts of Heaven. There is no place in the New Testament where Jesus taught on prayer that He talked about a battlefield, but He placed prayer in the court of Heaven.
We don't need to fight and exhaust ourselves in prayer. In Luke 18, the woman before the unjust judge only spoke to the judge. And, how much more will our Heavenly Father, who loves us, give us what we need. He will give us bread when we ask, instead of a stone... well, you know the rest of that scripture.
In the past I purchased every book I could find on prayer, and tried all the approaches. I had some small successes, but not what I needed and hoped for.
I HIGHLY recommend this book! I discovered why my prayers have not been answered. I am now going through the book again, chapter by chapter and making notes to better understand how to 'approach the throne of grace and find help in time of need.' If you are not getting your prayers answered, you need this book.
It will teach you to take off the battle garments and learn how to get your family restored and drawn to the Lord, after you rightly approach our Great and Awesome Judge, allowing Him to rule on your behalf.
Since operating in the protocol of the court and not performing in battle mentality, I have already seen some amazing answers. Please don't get me wrong, putting on the full armor of God and standing in faith definitely is vital to our spiritual walk. But if we look at that scripture, we are to dress for battle, then to stand. Battlefield activity has no place in the courtroom. But understanding the protocol of the Court of Heaven is absolutely vital. I am so excited to see what the Lord will do with my family.
If I had known before I got this book how informative and instructional it was, I would have willingly paid so much more for it. It is that amazing. You will benefit greatly by getting this book.

After several hours of internet research I decided to buy the Daily Roman Missal. It is based on the 3rd edition of the text of the Roman Missal (2010), and it is the 7th edition (2011) published by Rev James Socias. It is approved by the Committee on Divine Worship, US Conference of Catholic Bishops.

The price of $53.90 was excellent and it was delivered promptly in two days by Amazon Prime and sold by "acbooksnet." It arrived in excellent condition. It appears to be extremely well constructed, and it is artfully and reverently designed with many beautiful black and white icon illustrations, appropriately placed throughout the missal. I very much like the Order of the Mass printed in Latin (with the exception of the different Prefaces) on odd number pages beside the English. It is incredibly comprehensive, well beyond the Liturgy of the Mass, as the Amazon description indicates. The size, feel and print are very convenient.

I was a little concerned about learning how to use this missal, as it appeared to be very complex, with a liturgical calendar that goes from 2011 to 2023. However, I found a YouTube video published by The Catholic Store called "How to Use Your Daily Roman Missal" that provides an excellent explanation at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fVkh5NHXFco. The missal is very well organized and it takes only a few minutes with the video to move about the missal and find your place. The six ribbons are very helpful to keep track of places that are personally important.

Superior Printing Craftsmanship and Design

This book exceeds my expectations for printing quality and excellent organization. More color ink would add to this book's attractiveness but it would also increase the cost to no real advantage.
Some users may find reading glasses helpful but I could only imagine the size of the book if larger type were used. In this instance, the type size is reasonable and adequate.
Buyers should know that the description's added "Leather Bound" remark is misleading, as the "bonded leather" versions have a padded cover. At first, I was disappointed but now, having used the missal, I appreciate the sturdiness and "feel" of the padded cover in light of the massive volume of the book's 2,514+ pages.
Buyers will definitely benefit from reading the Forward, Preface and How to Use this Missal sections, as this introduction answers many questions and fully explains the missal's daily and seasonal arrangement.
The inclusion of Latin text brings back memories of Mass before Vatican II. This will be meaningful to senior users or those who view masses on EWTN or perhaps still have a "Latin Mass" in their community.
Many other features make this missal valuable and inspirational.

UPDATE 5/2014: Having used this missal for two years, I am impressed with its quality printing and binding. The missal's liturgical calendar runs to 2023 and I'm confident that the book easily will survive that term.

The Search is Over

After reviewing the many missals available I settled on this due to it's all inclusive nature.

The Cover is a beautiful thickly padded real leather that smells great. The Gold on the page edges looks substantial, There are plenty of page markers which is necessary to navigate around this extensive volume.

Print in good as is paper quality. Illustrations were a little disappointing, but it's NOT an Altar version.

I am recently returning to the Church, and I am seeing many things for the first time, in looking in the many sections about saints, the calendar and overall logic of the cycle and meanings of the mass through the ABC years.

I used to see the Mass as a repetitive series of motions, and my attention span as a youth was greatly exceeded.

I am glad that these many years latter I am finally "getting it"

I highly recommend this Missal, but, if you need something a little easier to navigate or larger type, then you may look elsewhere. For me my trifocals work just fine. God Bless.

Fantastic Textbook to read in or out of school

This book was required reading for me but I enjoyed reading almost every single chapter. As a healthcare worker, it truly challenged the way I think and placed ethical issues in a perspective that allowed me to think for myself about all of them. There is a slight focus on the PPACA which I guess should be expected since that is one of the lastest issues our country is challenged with. The text covered many issues that we have been faced with throughout the last two to three decades in healthcare and I liked the fact that it discussed newer and more interesting issues first to keep you engaged.

I appreciated that it is kind of like an anthology in that most every chapter is a different author making each chapter feeling fresh. If you work in healthcare and serve patients, whether you are going to school or not, I recommend this book. It is certainly enlightening, educating, and challenging!

I can recommend this book no higher

Absolutely one of the top 3 books I have ever read. I have been studying A Course in Miracles for 20 years. Never have I seen it written about so clearly and in such human terms. Mr. Arandes is amazingly accurate and tells us PRECISELY how to go about our daily "lives" and live the principles of the Course. I can recommend this book no higher, it is simply excellent. This book is incredible! After Disappearance of the Universe, this has definitely been the next most helpful ACIM book that I've read. It organizes the material in a fun way, and explains how to put ACIM in action. Love love love this book!!!! I'd give it 6 Stars if I could!!

A Sensational Must For Every Woman

This book is another great work from the Bihar School of Yoga. This time they discuss the complete woman, from childhood to young adulthood; to womanhood and later life, and all inbetween. Swami Muktananda, under the guidance of Swami Satyananda Saraswati, has compiled a text that 'reveals' to the woman herself the workings of her body, the workings of her spirituality and emotions during these different stages in life and they do not hold back. She begins by discussing the science of our bodies and how it works/functions, ie. what organs we have and what their functions truly are. Then there is a duscussion our our energy or Yogic bodies, what they are (chakras; nadis; etc), what their functions are and how they assist when they are healthy or unhealthy. Again the mind body connection or awareness, prevelent throughtout their books. There is information that has disappeared with our 'modernizing' world such as sacred rites of passages girls undertook when they reached young womanhood and how they were eased into it, also a story on how women were excepted and praised during their time, which no longer exists today because of man made myths and laws/religions.

Swami Muktananda then delves into the story of all our lives beginning with menstruation, the taboos and realities of this monnumental change. Being a psychology major she talks about what many women, especially in western culture and as western culture takes over in the east, are experiencing. It is daunting. So many women experiencing the same feeling and thoughts because of ignorance and neglect. I know, myself being a woman of western society. There are chapters on menarch and menopause, the beginning and the end; back pain, depression, weight problems and so many other issues that women face daily. It can be a little intense to read if you suffer or have suffered because Muktananda pulls open those bandages that hide the scars and reveals those wounds. But the greatest thing about this text is that awareness is brought to the reader(s) and throughout yogic practices are given to be applied as healing remedies. And they work, having tried and experienced the change myself, namely through the Surya Namaskara practice.

This is the real journey of a woman compiled into a book. I highly recommend this to any woman: mother, sister, daughter, aunt, friend and beyond. Also to any father who wants to know how to help their daughter throughout her transitional stages of life. A very infomative text that I wish I had known about so many years ago....

Not what I expected

I thought this book was written by the Great Siddha Yogi - Swami Muktananda from Ganeshpuri India . But its written by a yogini from Australia with the same name. The content is okay, geared towards women, has several practices to deal with physical and emotional ailments. I thought this was just okay since I am already familiar with a bit of the content in the book. Was expecting more depth as I thought it would be written by the Great Swami himself.

This book explores how the design, construction, and use of robotics technology may affect today’s legal systems and, more particularly, matters of responsibility and agency in criminal law, contractual obligations, and torts. By distinguishing between the behaviour of robots as tools of human interaction, and robots as proper agents in the legal arena, jurists will have to address a new generation of “hard cases.” General disagreement may concern immunity in criminal law (e.g., the employment of robot soldiers in battle), personal accountability for certain robots in contracts (e.g., robo-traders), much as clauses of strict liability and negligence-based responsibility in extra-contractual obligations (e.g., service robots in tort law). Since robots are here to stay, the aim of the law should be to wisely govern our mutual relationships.

A fantastic book!

I really recommend this as an essential book for anyone studying immunology
in detail.- Its also a very useful reference for anyone studying medicine and wanting to
go into more depth.

Immunology at the best of times can be a difficult subject to grasp, both in terms of concepts
and details. Thank heavens for Janeway and Travers 5e which explains this challenging subject
in a simple way, without compromising on accuracy. What brings this book apart from the field is
its emphasis on fundamental principles: It defines these at the beginning of each chapter before delving into detail later on. Another great feature of its organisation is they way it draws parallels and connections between different aspects of the subject, helping the reader to gain an integrated and wider understanding of the subject. For example consider the unique way in which it compares and contrasts B and T cell development and functioning.
Information is also very accessible, since there are small subheadings for each topic, combined with
a very useful cross-referencing, though index and glossary. Plus its packed to the brim with useful colour diagrams which help to reinforce and add to points made in the text. Since it is written by recognised experts in the field, information is up to date and accurate, and it clearly differentiates between accepted `facts' and theories.
In summary; after leaving many lectures bemused, bored and confused it's comforting to know that I can always turn to this book for guidance.
