Overall is ok

Overall the book is ok but doesn't cover the basics. Books like this seem to start at the high school level. Some of us seem to have to go back to the very beginning. Starting as if this is new to us would be helpful. Do it like we are doing a refresher class. Haven't found any like that for adults who need it.

Tells how to organize notes and decide what to write down

Excellent advice on how to read a nonfiction book and what notes to make about it, how to take them down fast and why not to use a tape recorder. Written in chatty style, it's not much of a chore to read. I recommend it enthusiastically since it's jam-packed with helpful ideas.
