Excellent Read for all Chodpa

Having read "Lion of Siddhas" I was very interested in this book, as Lama Wangdu is one of the last lineage masters of Shije, a rarely seen lineage in the West. The section describing his pilgrimage through 108 charnel grounds is very worthwhile reading for the aspiring Chodpa.
There are few practitioners in the West of the Shije lineage, so I hope this book and "Lion of Siddhas" gives a new lease on life to a powerful tradition.
Knowing both translators to be good Chod practitioners furthers my feeling that they did a good job in bringing us this book.

An extraordinary autobiography of an extraordinary man.

If you have any interest in Chod, this is a must read. The translator Llama Jinpa is known to me and is an excellent translator from the Tibetan Language as well as a Chod practitioner and Llama in his own right. Chod is not well understood by most westerners. Reading this book will help. It is not "Machik's Complete Explanation: Clarifying the Meaning of Chod" but a much more readable and interesting account of a Chod practitioner who is still currently alive and giving instruction.
